As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Maiden NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech location you will complete routine rounds remain highly visible and help to deter security-related concerns while supporting employees and visitors with professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license with mobile patrols clear communication and detailed reporting. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients employees and visitors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices common areas parking areas and the perimeter documenting observations and reporting maintenance concerns and/or unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and perform access control tasks such as checking identification directing visitors to the appropriate check-in process and helping to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner providing timely notifications to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity incidents and patrol findings and communicate relevant security-related information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
