With this position we offer :
As The seasoned Release Manager with extensive experience in coordinating and executing complex release cycles across multiple data platforms. You will be responsible to orchestrate and manage end-to-end release activities across the organizations data platform ecosystem including Databricks Informatica Microsoft Fabric SQL Server Profisee and Power BI ensuring seamless deployments with minimal disruption to business operations.
Your Roles and Responsibilities include :
- Plan and schedule releases across Databricks Informatica MS Fabric SQL and Power BI. Coordinate with dev teams facilitate go/no-go meetings and manage release windows with all stakeholders.
- Track all affected components across platforms maintain dependency matrices perform pre-release impact analysis and resolve conflicts between interconnected systems.
- Implement Git branching strategies manage release/hotfix branches enforce versioning standards and oversee code freeze periods and emergency procedures.
- Create release notes and runbooks manage JIRA release workflows maintain audit trails and ensure compliance with change management policies.
- Execute deployments per approved runbooks monitor progress perform post-release validation coordinate rollbacks if needed and conduct post-release reviews.
- Provide status updates to leadership send release notifications serve as single point of contact during releases and bridge technical and business teams.
We expect you to have: (Minimum Qualifications) :
- Minimum of 7-11 years of experience in Release management preferably in data/analytics environments.
- Proven track record managing releases across multiple platforms simultaneously.
- Must have worked on strong SQL and data engineering concepts.
- Experience with Git branching strategies and version control.
- Demonstrated experience with JIRA and project tracking tools like Microsoft project.
- Previous experience coordinating with distributed development teams.
- Degree qualified in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience. Post graduate degree in a related discipline.
It would be great if you (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications in relevant platforms (Azure AWS Informatica Databricks etc.)
- ITIL Foundation or Agile/Scrum certifications.
- Experience with GitLab and Azure DevOps.
- Background in data warehouse or business intelligence projects with strong exposure on SQL and Python.
- Experience with automated deployment CICD pipelines.
