Pernod Ricard Spain is looking for a Consumer Insights Expert to join our Strategy & Insights team as a 6-month maternity leave cover (mid-April 2026 to mid-October 2026).
We are seeking a candidate with a solid background in consumer insights and a proven ability to design and execute market research that supports business strategy and informs marketing decision-making.
This role requires a self-starter comfortable operating in a dynamic and fast-changing environment with strong foundations in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies (traditional and innovative) excellent analytical capabilities attention to detail strong communication skills business acumen and a service-oriented mindset.
The ideal candidate does not need to be highly senior but should bring a solid mid-level understanding of consumer insights and above all the energy and attitude to support the team during a very busy period
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Business Intelligence Managers and working closely with the Head of Strategy & Insights the selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Collaborating on the design and optimization of research projects
- Executing local research according to the established annual plan
- Coordinating projects across external agencies and internal stakeholders
- Managing relationships with research partners ensuring quality timing and budget discipline
- Measuring brand performance (e.g. pre-post advertising tests brand activations) and tracking brand equity
- Translating insights into clear analyses and actionable recommendations
- Communicating findings effectively within Marketing and other teams
- Actively contributing to the Strategy & Insights team agenda
- Helping to promote consumer centricity across the Pernod Ricard organization
Required Profile
- Degree in Marketing Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Consumer Insights (agency experience valued)
- Strong experience in managing both qualitative and quantitative research projects
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Experience in the Alcoholic Beverages industry is a plus
- Knowledge of Pernod Ricard culture values and brands is appreciated
