We have a position open for Key Account Manager-End Customer (KAM-EC) that is focused on Transportation segment in Japan.

As KAM-EC you will work directly with and manage our long-term relationships with our end customers managing their complex needs and priorities.

You will be responsible for the strategic management of their accounts with the goal of deepening the Axis relationship.

You will be involved in solutions sales and the development of accounts including presentations and proposals to decision makers and site management.

You will build a team around the end customer and coordinate all resources and communication between sales technical and marketing.

Ensuring that end customer documentation is managed and maintained.

You will spend meaningful time engaging with the end customer and build new and existing relationships to create trust share product knowledge and be solutions focused.

This position is based in Tokyo and will involve travel.

Responsibilities (key accountabilities)

  • Create a clear annual business plan for selected accounts drive sales activities and update with regular reviews.
  • Formulate and update account plans that form the basis of medium- to long-term growth strategies for major partner accounts
  • Work directly with our established key focused accounts.
  • Maintain and create new long-term partnerships.
  • Develop strategic business plans for key focused accounts.
  • Set annual targets on each account and continuously follow up on set KPIs.
  • Actively participate in trade shows seminars webinars and other promotional sales activities.
  • Prepare reports for new and key focused accounts.

Champions of Culture and Methodology: Act as a champion for Axis Core Values and a master of the Axis Sales Methodology serving as a champion for the country or territory while fostering an Act as one collaborative environment across departments.

Profile (Qualifications for this job) Knowledge abilities skills

  • Bachelors degree in business or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in a similar sales position / sales target achievement.
  • Strategic thinker with strong communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in building lasting relationships and working with Consultants and Customers in the Government segment (desirable).
  • Desirable to have worked with hardware and/or software products.
  • Good organizational skills and able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Good knowledge of IT networking IP-based technologies and applications (desirable).
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce (desirable).
  • Pro-active self-motivated team player.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Over 10 years of experience in sales in the IT industry/company
  • Japanese: Native level or JLPT N1 certification required.
  • English: TOEIC score of 600 or above is preferred (Strongly desired for communication with global teams).
