ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identifies administrative needs and develops appropriate solutions and/or recommendations.
Answers incoming telephone calls determines purpose of callers and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.
Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address directions and other information.
Welcomes on-site visitors determines nature of business and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
Monitors visitor access and issues ID Badges according to company policy and TSA regulations.
Tracks and logs all overnight packages and contacts the person to whom addressed.
Sort incoming mail and process outgoing mail including intercompany mail if applicable
Process office supplies order
Update internal phone list on a monthly basis.
Performs other duties as assigned such as assisting other departments. Always check with supervisor prior to committing to any other project or assignment.
Schedule: MondayFriday from 12:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma required and some college preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One year of previous experience preferred in an administrative capacity
Ability to speak and understand English
Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) Email and Internet
Good written and verbal skills communication to record and relay messages

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as freight rates discounts and other percentages
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is:
Frequently required to stand and walk
Regularly required to sit for extended periods
Regularly uses arms to reach hands and fingers for computer and phone use
Speaking clearly and listening for heavy phone contact
Requires close-up and computer screen distance vision ability
