Job Summary

This position will be part of a team of associates that is primarily responsible for reviewing marketing collateral and websites for health insurance distribution affiliates and their downlines with a particular focus on ensuring compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations and relevant contractual obligations.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review health distribution affiliate marketing and communication material including websites emphasizing adherence to CMS guidelines and standards.
  • File material with CMS and/or carriers as required to ensure we meet applicable requirements
  • Collaborate with marketing teams and health distribution affiliates to ensure all necessary changes to submitted marketing material including websites are incorporated to comply with CMS regulations.
  • Respond to information requests from insurance carriers specifically regarding compliance with CMS requirements for health affiliate and partner marketing material and websites.
  • Support the development implementation and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures that align with CMS mandates for marketing content.
  • Assist in identifying analyzing and resolving compliance issues related to CMS website standards.
  • Maintain and evaluate regulatory documentation to ensure continued compliance with CMS and corporate standards.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders on initiatives focused on CMS-related compliance and business processes.
  • Participate in projects directly tied to CMS compliance as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience with exposure to CMS regulations preferred.
  • Experience in the insurance industry or a compliance-focused role ideally involving CMS marketing guidelines.
  • Familiarity with CMS regulations and health insurance industry standards is strongly desirable.
  • Proficient in computer applications including MS Office.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills especially when discussing CMS compliance topics with senior management and sales professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong business relationships and collaborate effectively toward CMS-aligned objectives.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to prioritize tasks particularly those involving CMS regulatory matters.
