Job Summary

Journeyman PressGannett Publishing Services / USA Today MADuties:Set up press and conveyor/stacker system for press runs. Demonstrate expertise in all aspects of offset printing including setting color image registration newsprint handling and delivery of final product within established waste expertise with all phases of setup run maintenance and housekeeping duties on the presses and in the apprentices to understand the Offset reproduction process and continuously work with them on the skills necessary to correctly and efficiently operate the printing presses and auxiliary department adhere to all safety directives for the department the plant and the adhere to all Company policies and directives. Consistently demonstrates reliability punctuality excellent communication skills and comprehension good mechanical aptitude willingness to learn and a strong work ethic. The position requires schedule flexibility based on seniority crew availability and operational demands as set forth by the company and includes night weekend and holiday shifts.
