The Regional Planner Supply Chain will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of valid replenishment plan for the assigned Third Party or Internal manufacturing sites and second tier suppliers all in line with business strategies financial plans capacity constraints and the target inventory profiles. The Regional Planner Supply Chain builds and manages a supply chain network that is resilient and act as shock-absorber for fluctuations coming from both demand & supply. Focus within the replenishment plan is to optimize inventory levels and identification assessment and mitigation of supply risks is key priority in the daily activities.
Demand Management
Support commercial forecast changes and communicate impacts.
Coordinate NPIs label changes and item transitions.
Collaborate crossfunctionally to meet customer requirements.
Prevent backorders and drive corrective actions when needed.
Supply / Supplier Management
Provide monthly replenishment forecasts to suppliers.
Manage supply shortages and propose mitigation plans.
Issue and monitor purchase orders ensuring timely updates.
Align with manufacturing sites on inventory capacity and NPIs.
Track supplier performance and support CAPA actions.
Communicate proactively on supply or shipment changes.
Inventory Management
Define inventory strategies aligned with business targets.
Maintain safety stocks MOQ settings and inventory projections.
Manage slowmoving/obsolete inventory and preventive actions.
Other Responsibilities
Maintain SAP planning parameters and required master data.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and crossfunctional meetings.
Ensure compliance with quality financial and regulatory requirements.
Manage KPI reporting and maintain critical product/supplier information.
RequiredQualifications
Supply Chain Management or Production Operations Management or Logistics Management or Business Administration or equal by experience.
5 years experience in supply chain environment and 2 years experience in demand/supply planning preferably in Pharma business.
Strong communication skills (English written and oral) and an ability to work-cross functionally in an international environment.
Good foundation in Basics of Supply Chain management.
Focus on execution at a detail level without losing oversight (helicopter view).
Strong analytical skills are a necessity for capacity planning scheduling inventory management and KPI analysis.
Uses good judgment to make sound decisions.
Innovation and initiative are required to identify and implement business process improvements.
Adaptable and maintain the ability to be flexible in an ever changing and challenging.
Good SAP ECC/APO or similar system skills.
PreferredQualifications
Preferred experience with inventory management and cost saving projects.
APICS Certification desirable
Experience in Pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
A good understanding of S&OP/MRP (Material Requirement Planning)/MPS (Master Production Schedule) planning systems and business applications is preferred
