Job Summary

Step into a key role leading our technical team as the Technical Team Leader.

Reporting to the Technical Supervisor youll lead a team of Technicians and Apprentices responsible for constructing installing and maintaining substation and distribution equipment. This role calls for strong people leadership solid project planning abilities and a proven track record in delivering quality work.

Youll enjoy developing and supporting your team fostering strong relationships with colleagues customers and contractors.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime and rostered on-call duties.

About You Skills and Experience

You are a motivated individual with a practical flexible and team-oriented mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for developing your career with PowerNet.

Were seeking someone who:

  • Is a natural people leader who recognises the value of great leadership.
  • Holds a National Certificate in Electrical Supply Level 4 (or equivalent).
  • Has a current EWRB electrical registration and practising licence.
  • Brings at least three years of recent experience in the electrical distribution industry.
  • Is innovative and confident in using new technology to improve processes.
  • Meets the competency requirements for PowerNet Network Access Criteria (NAC).
  • Holds a current Class 1 driver licence.
  • Has up-to-date knowledge of industry safety regulations.
