Job Summary
HCA Florida Northside Hospital is seeking a full time experienced physician assistant (PA-C)or nurse practitioner (APRN) to join our cardiology team in St. Petersburg FL.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited APRN or PA school
Licensed in the state of Florida or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions) Board Certified
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and certification
Basic EKG course
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved)
Responsibilities
Help to improve positive outcomes for your patients as a PA or APRN for the Valve Clinic
Present clinical findings at multidisciplinary team
Ensure patients meet NCD guidelines for treatment and order all required testing pre and post procedure
Educate patients and familiesregardingtreatment Plan and Procedure medication instructions pre and post procedure
Administer treatmentsin accordance withprotocols (APRNs can order medication based and do treatments on the protocols they are credentialedfor )
Customer service skills to all that we serve Physicians co-workerspatientsand family Incentive/Benefits Package:
