Job Summary

We are currently seeking Anesthesiologists forVA Augusta GA.
Pay:$120.00 per hour.
Sign-on bonus:$30000.

Place of performance: VA MedicalCenter Augusta GA.
Schedule:Monday-Friday 40 hours per week normally between the hours 7:30 am-4:00pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break; must be flexible with schedule plus on call.
Description of duties:
- Preoperative evaluation
- Intravenous conscious/moderate sedation
- Management of fluid electrolyte and metabolic parameters
- Airway management basic and complicated including all associated devices and techniques
- Invasive monitoring (Pulmonary Artery Catheter Central Venous Arterial Lines)
- Local and regional anesthesia with and without sedation including topical and infiltration minor and major nerve blocks
- Management of intraoperative complications
- Management of PACU problems
- Peripheral nerve block to include major plexus block
- Manipulation of body temperature
- Manipulation of cardiovascular parameters
- Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation including tracheal intubation ventilation and basic and advanced CPR monitoring
- Joint and bursa sac injection
- Trigger point injection
- Cervical thoracic lumbar and caudal blocks
- Differential spinal blocks
- Cervical brachial and lumbar plexus blocks
- Stellate ganglion blocks
- Celiac plexus blocks
- Lumbar sympathetic blocks
- Regional blocks of the head neck and limbs
- Blocks for the treatment of cephalgia
Qualifications
- MD license.
- Board Certified/Eligible.
- DEA.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
