About the Role
As a key member of our operations team youll manage a team of Operators and coordinate valve production to meet customer demand backlog requirements and quality standards. Youll work closely with Planning and Purchasing teams to ensure parts are delivered on time enabling your team to keep production flowing efficiently.
This is a hands-on fast-paced role where youll lead by example maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement across your area.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead develop and motivate a team of Operators to achieve daily performance targets.
- Coordinate production activities in line with customer demand and backlog.
- Work collaboratively with internal Planning and Purchasing teams to ensure timely parts availability.
- Maintain accurate build and test instructions ensuring internal processes run smoothly.
- Use data-driven insights to support decision-making including daily SQDCP reporting.
- Actively participate in tier meetings contributing to problem-solving and process improvements.
- Uphold 5S housekeeping standards and promote an organised efficient work environment.
- Implement efficiency improvements and address design infrastructure or process-related issues.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other Team Leaders and the Health & Safety Manager to address safety needs.
- Remain adaptable as responsibilities develop alongside business needs.

- Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- Have an ability and willingness to train and coach others
- Collaborate within a team providing direction and support to colleagues as needed
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Have a basic understanding of supply chain processes
