Our company is seeking a Forklift Operator to receive and ship freight in a LTL Cross-dock environment. We are looking for experienced organized detail-oriented self-driven individuals with a commitment to excellence. Fundamental knowledge of cross-docking procedures would be an asset.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Unloading freight from inbound trailers
- Loading outbound trailers
- Distributing freight to P&D drivers
- Printing labels and applying to shipments received
- Documenting and escalating overages shortages and damages
- Reweighing inbound and outbound freight
- Completing dock checks and yard checks as required
- General housekeeping and cleaning of dock and equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Must have at least 2-3 years of experience with Forklift and have valid certification
- Must have an excellent attendance record
- High attention to quality standards and solid detail-orientation required
- Ability to follow instruction well and meet deadlines
- Health and safety conscious
- Good knowledge of Canadian Geography is an asset
- Must complete WHIMIS training (provided)

- Physical Dexterity

- Strong Work focus
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrates ability to work in environment with minimal supervision

- Monday to Friday
- Full-time 40 hours per week
- 12:30 pm - 8:30 pm
