Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java EE System Administrator with strong skills in WebSphere WebLogic Tomcat and Linux Middleware Administration to support critical production and nonproduction environments across both operational and project work.
Key Responsibilities
- Install upgrade configure and manage J2EE application servers including WebSphere WebLogic and Tomcat as well as SUSE and Red Hat Linux operating systems.
- Support the release deployment and lifecycle management of Java EE applications across development test and production environments.
- Ensure systems meet agreed service levels maintain data integrity and follow bestpractice operational standards.
- Monitor review and optimise system performance to maintain stability and reliability.
- Provide technical expertise to ensure correct application of operational procedures.
- Communicate clearly with specialists users and managers providing accurate and timely information.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the overall health and performance of the environment.
Qualifications :
- Hands-on experience in administering Java EE application servers and Linux middleware.
- Strong skills in WebSphere WebLogic Tomcat and Linux Middleware Administration
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work across complex high-availability environments.
- Experience across both public and private sector environments is highly desirable.
- While this is not a Java developer role an understanding of Java application development is an advantage.
