Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Manager IS Applications this co-op student will be responsible for:

  • Assist in the monitoring of production systems (including application logs)
  • Identify and resolve problems in order to prevent negative impacts to application users
  • Review analyze and update software application documentation including architectural drawings using Microsoft Visio
  • Communicate effectively and demonstrate professional competence with users co-workers and management
  • Perform software analysis and requirement gathering along with some minor build and test activities

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergrad Computer Information Systems Software Engineering or equivalent program
  • Enrolled in a co-op program
  • Familiar and able to work with various Microsoft products such as Word Excel SharePoint and Visio
  • Software development training
  • Valid class 5 BC drivers license

  • This is a full-time temporary student co-op opportunity with a 4 or 8 month term starting in May 2026.
