Commercial Property Solicitor (34 PQE)

Location: Luton (development focus progression)

The Role: Commercial Property (Development-leaning)
This is a full-time position where youll run your own matters and work alongside senior colleagues on more complex development transactions.
Youll be involved in work such as:
- Development transactions(site acquisition support set-up matters plot sales support depending on experience)
- Sales and purchasesof commercial property
- Landlord & Tenantmatters (leases renewals variations assignments)
- Refinanceand secured lending transactions (where relevant)
What youll be doing day-to-day:
- Managing files from instruction through to completion with appropriate supervision
- Drafting and negotiating documentation and dealing with title issues
- Advising clients clearly on risk timescales and commercial considerations
- Building strong relationships with clients and referrers
- Developing your capability towards Senior Associate level over time
Requirements
To be considered youll ideally have:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- 34 years PQEinCommercial Propertywithin aUK legal practice
- A genuine interest indevelopment work(or existing development exposure)
- Solid grounding in core commercial property transactions (sales/purchases L&T and/or refinance)
- Strong drafting skills attention to detail and a client-first approach
Desirable (not essential):
- Direct experience supporting ondevelopment acquisitionsand/or plot sales
- Experience working with SME investor or developer clients
