What You Will Do

• To provide chemical analysis and control of the plating bath auxiliary strip solutions at the required testing intervals; to develop analytical procedures if required;

• To perform analysis of the wastewater effluent discharged into sanitary sewers from the plating shop;

• To develop and maintain data of all chemical analyses in Truechem software;

• Address environmental concerns as required by Federal and Provincial Ministries of the Environment as well as the local municipalities bylaws;

• Maintenance of the chemical labs equipment and chemicals;

• Perform other duties as assigned;

Qualifications You Must Have

• Education in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Materials Engineering;

• Must be able to perform chemical analysis and maintain the appropriate log and charts;

• Position requires a person who can interact with people at various levels within the company;

• Successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP;

Qualifications We Preferred

• Familiar with electro-plating process preferably in the aerospace industry;

• Familiar with autotitrator UV-VIS spectrometer Ion chromatograph ICP equipment;
