DescriptionAs a NetworkOperationsEngineer you will provide Tier/Level 3 support for Emersons global IT network portfolio ensuring the stability and performance of a largescale enterprise environment that spans over 400 offices and multiple global data centers. You will work under the general guidance of Network Operations management to maintain and improve Emersons worldwide connectivity and infrastructure.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Ensure reliable end-to-end network service delivery across WAN LAN Wireless and Firewall environments within a global enterprise infrastructure
- Configure operate and troubleshoot Cisco and Fortinet routing and switching platforms as well as enterprise Next-Generation firewall solutions including Fortinet FortiGate and/or Palo Alto
- Support and maintain Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure including VLAN segmentation dynamic routing protocols such as BGP EIGRP and OSPF
- Support and troubleshoot secure remote access solutions including SSL/IPsec VPN technologies
- Operate and support modern enterprise wireless networks including Juniper Mist and/or Cisco managed wireless infrastructure ensuring optimal user connectivity and performance
- Handle network alerts incidents and service requests using monitoring platforms and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow performing troubleshooting escalation and resolution according to operational procedures and SLA commitments
- Collaborate with global network engineering cybersecurity and vendor teams to investigate and resolve complex routing switching wireless and security incidents
- Support data center and hybrid cloud connectivity ensuring reliable network integration with platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud
- Participate in network change implementation and incident response following established operational and security procedures.

For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related technology/engineering discipline preferred or hands-on experience required
- 4-5 or more years working with routing switching and/or network security devices
- Experience in large WAN and datacenter environments
- Excellent customer service and communications skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
