Position Summary
A healthcare organization in Dallas TX is seeking an experienced Travel Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support a busy cardiology outpatient clinic. This contract role involves providing direct patient care and assisting physicians with clinical procedures while ensuring accurate documentation and patient education.
The position is primarily based in Dallas with occasional travel to a nearby clinic in Rockwall TX approximately 12 times per week.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care and clinical support within a cardiology outpatient clinic
Assist physicians with patient evaluations and routine clinical procedures
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and scope of practice
Perform and interpret EKGs as part of patient assessments
Educate patients on treatment plans medications and follow-up care
Document patient information accurately using electronic medical record systems
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Support clinic operations and workflow to maintain an efficient patient care environment
Required Qualifications
Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in Texas (or compact license eligibility)
Experience performing EKGs
Strong clinical and patient care skills in an outpatient setting
Ability to travel to Rockwall TX 12 times per week as needed
