The primary roles and responsibilities will be to provide patient care on the Infectious Diseases Inpatient Consult Service at Clements University Hospital and Parkland Hospital as well as the HIV and ID/OPAT clinics. Other duties can include sharing attending duties on General Internal Medicine HIV and Bone & Joint services. Participation in the teaching and training of medical studentsresidentsand ID fellows is also expected. The interests of the applicant and needs of the division willdeterminethe exact distribution of responsibilities for an individual faculty member.
M.D. degree or equivalent from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicineresidency programfrom an ACGME accredited program.
Level of appointment will becommensuratewith experience.
Candidate must be eligible for Texas medical licensure and be board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
