Job Summary
Seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital part of Floridas largest healthcare system andlocatedsouthwest of Jacksonville
Qualified Candidates:
Board-certification in Psychiatry;additionalfellowship training welcomed
Have a current or obtainable unrestricted Florida medical license - not subject to any restrictions probationarytermsor conditions
No history of any practice license being revoked restricted or suspended by any professional licensing agency in any state orjurisdiction
Have current unrestricted DEA registration
Prior experience working with residents and/or engaging in scholarly activity a plus
Position:
Outpatient adult psychiatry clinic Monday Friday
No weekends
Core faculty duties with supervisoryrolefor PGY3 residents in training.
All patients are seen first by psychiatry residents
Staffing is 2 residents per day on average with 90 allowed for new evaluations
Minimal call duties for clinic only; residents take first calls with supervision as needed
Other GME duties include teaching in didactics individual supervision and program committee work including resident candidate interviews
Clinic is supported by a medical assistant front desk staff and practice manager
