Job Summary

Summary
This positionwill use a forklift toassistall areas of the plant in the production and packaging of french fries and preformed potato productsin a manner consistent with safetyqualityand production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Forklift Line Service employeesare required tobe cross trained withMaterials and Inventory Coordinators andare able toperform functions within their security role.
- Attend andparticipateinalltraining activitiesfor the theacquired skills and knowledge are applied.
- Ensures there is no injury to self or others by following safe work practices (including Standard Operating Procedures) and policies.
- Conducts oneself in a professional manner and ensures thatpersonalappearance meets the standards necessary to perform the job functions whilerepresentingthe Company.
- Must be able to complete training on the safe operation of the lift truck (forklift) and successfully pass the certification test requirements. This training and certification are requirementsin accordance withOSHA 1910.78 standards for Material Handling and Storage using Powered Industrial Trucks.
- Maintains freezer bylocatingand moving totes as needed.
- Dumps totes andmaintainslines tofacilitatepackaging.
- Ensuresproper inspection of forklift.
- Ensurestrash totes are emptied andlocatedin areas needed.
- Monitors the safe operation of the trash compactors and dumpsters.
- Properly creates tote tags/ pallet tags and performstimelydata entry into DCS.

Relevant Experience
- Must have successfully completed the Job Skill Evaluation to begin training in the complete the Structured Job Training program withinrecommendedtimeframeto remain in the positionpermanently.
- Must be able todemonstratethe ability to perform addition subtraction multiplication division and calculate percentages to make proper adjustments and calibrations asrequired.
- Must be able to read understand and communicatein Englishin a manner to successfully complete job duties.
- Must be able tolift upto 50poundsiea bag of ingredients
- Must be able to maneuver in close quarters and climb stairs ladders and catwalks on a regular basis.
- Must be able to stand on concrete floors forlong periodsof time.
- Must be able to work in extreme environments (cold hothumidand slippery).
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able toidentifyhazards and report toappropriate personnel.
- Musthave an acceptable attendance record
