Plans directs and monitors general operations utilization efficiency lifecycle and compliance factors related to a broad array of medical equipment used in acute and non-acute care settings. Manages hospital medical equipment resources in a manner that provides safe productive and cost effective equipment for patients and patient care staff.
Essential Functions:- Maintains and manages the inventory of medical equipment and supplies.
- Coordinates with vendors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and supplies.
- Develops and implements maintenance schedules for medical equipment.
- Conducts regular inspections of medical equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Trains staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Keeps accurate records of equipment maintenance repairs and replacements.
- Develops reporting tools and dashboards for equipment management and operating efficiencies including developing management goals objectives policies and procedures.

- Strong financial analytical and problem solving skills required to analyze existing processes and implement improvements to resolve operational and interpersonal issues to develop and monitor budgets and to assure the provision of quality services.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting.
- Proficient computer skills in Excel Access Word PowerPoint MS Project and Lotus Notes.
Experience:Five years of experience in healthcare related supply chain required.
