Job Summary

Idaho Forest Group is currently seeking a Manufacturing Operations Intern for summer of 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Learn from IFG SMEs to enhance the educational experience at university.
Partner with departments to understand each business function.
Assist COO with tasks as assigned

Plant tours
Business meeting preparation
Data collection
Assist with company events

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Currently pursuing an undergrad or graduate degree in Business Management/Administration or a related discipline
Must be an existing student with GPA of 3.0 or higher
Understanding of manufacturing operations
Ability to multi-task and work independently on multiple projects while meeting deadlines
Have their own housing as no housing will be provided with internship
Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test post-offer pre-employment physical and background check.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Valid drivers license

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to sit and/or stand for shift reach with hands and arms stoop squat bend at the waist kneel walk varying distance and climb stairs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to tolerate all weather elements loud conditions airborne particles (sawdust).
