Commercial Property Senior Associate (710 PQE)
Salary: DOE
Location: Luton (high-quality work progression)

Based in the Luton area youll join an established Commercial Property team with a strong pipeline of work and the scope to develop your profile internally and externally as a senior member of the department.
The Role: Commercial Property (Senior Associate)
This is a full-time position where youll take ownership of a varied commercial property caseload and support the wider team on more complex matters.
Core work will include:
- Landlord & Tenantmatters (leases renewals variations assignments)
- Sales and purchasesof commercial property
- Refinanceand secured lending transactions
Additional exposure (helpful not essential):
- Land acquisition
- Development work(site set-up plot sales infrastructure agreements depending on experience)
What youll be doing day-to-day:
- Managing transactions from instruction through to completion with minimal supervision
- Drafting and negotiating leases and transactional documentation
- Advising clients on risk title issues and commercial considerations
- Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues (where appropriate)
- Contributing to business development and strengthening key client relationships
Requirements
To be considered youll ideally have:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- 710 years PQEinCommercial Propertywithin aUK legal practice
- Strong experience acrossL&T sales/purchases and refinance
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a pragmatic commercial approach
- Confidence managing your own caseload and delivering high-quality client service
Desirable (not essential):
- Experience inacquisitions and development
- Supervisory/mentoring experience or interest in supporting junior development
