AsTeam Lead Data Engineeringyou willbring expertise acrossdata pipelines andarchitecturedata solution designand creationtechnical team leadershipand agile delivery.

Key responsibilities of this role are:

• Accountable and responsible for data pipeline development and the flow of data on the NHVRs Enterprise Data Platform;includingdataquality performance costmonitoring security governance and architecture.
• Provide authoritativeand trustedadvice to Managers Directors and other senior staff across the organisation regardingdata solutions augmentation implementation anduse ofdata.
• Develop project plans from rough business requirements and collaborate to maintain Project Roadmapsto effectively direct Data Engineering staff work activity.
• Provide technical leadership to Data Engineers and Developers.
• Participate in rotating incident management duties which includes troubleshooting andresolution.

To be successful in this role youwill have a minimum of 10 years experiencein all majoraspects of Data Engineeringwith demonstrated skills in Databricks and Azure cloud platform (certifications ineither /both would be highly regarded).ABachelorsdegree in a relevant disciplinewould be an advantage andMasterslevel would be highly regarded.

Your toolkit for success:

• Provenpracticalskillsand knowledge instructured datasystems and concepts includingETL/ELT methodsdata modelling schemamanagement and data profiling.
• Demonstratedhands-onextensive skills and experience withdesign patternspipelinedevelopment and API integrations.
• Demonstratedhands-onextensive skills and experienceprogrammingwithcommon languages used in data engineering (Python SQL etc)
• Proven skill and experience in leading coaching and developinga team of Data Engineers.
• Demonstrated extensive skills and experienceunderstanding and implementingdata concepts: structured/unstructured/streamingdata data lakes governance lineage etc.
• Proven skills with design patternsand governance includingdocumentation andnavigating Design Authorities and approval processes.
• Proven skills withsoftwareversioncontroltoolspeerreviewsand DevOps release pipelines.
• Experiencein championing and leadingAgile methods and projects.
• Demonstrated experiencepositivelycollaborating withData GovernanceCyber ITOpsandother developmentgroupswithin an organisation.
