Job Summary
We are seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations and support the continued efficiency and development of the department. This role will work closely with management to help ensure accurate financial reporting strong internal controls and effective team support.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and support the daily activities of the accounting team including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and department efficiency.
Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as required.
Support ERP system processes and help troubleshoot accounting workflow issues.
Train and mentor accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

5 years of accounting experience preferred.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Experience working with ERP systems.
Strong organizational analytical and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Demonstrates SEA Wire & Cables core values of Service Excellence and Accountability in daily work and interactions.

Physical Requirements

This is a largely sedentary role; however some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
