Job Summary
WiiGroup is hiring a Finance & Commercial Lead / Financial Controllerto take full ownership of our financial operations commercial governance and corporate compliance across multiple regions. This role is central to strengthening our commercial discipline liquidity and financial resilience while supporting the growth of a professional services consultancy operating across digital construction engineering and technology.
You will lead the full monthly finance cycle manage commercial tendering support improve financial controls and drive automation across finance and corporate systems. This role combines strategic financial leadership with hands-on operational capability making it ideal for someone who enjoys both shaping and delivering bestinclass processes.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Leadership & Monthly Control
Full ownership of the monthly accounting cycle across all jurisdictions
Bank reconciliations and cost centre allocation
Payroll oversight
VAT P30 and statutory returns
Employee expense management
Preparation and coordination of statutory accounts
Budgeting and rolling forecast management
Capex and lease oversight
Working capital and liquidity management
Bank relationship management
2. Commercial Strategy & Tendering Support
Support commercial tendering of projects and professional services
Contribute to pricing strategy to ensure target gross margins
Assist in developing structured bid qualification and pricing governance
Review commercial terms within client contracts
Build financial models for proposals and commercial decisions
Monitor margin performance against tender assumptions
Support development of a scalable consultancy commercial model
This role is instrumental in strengthening profitability discipline and aligning financial operations with commercial strategy.
3. Debtors & Cash Discipline
Oversight of invoicing processes
Timesheet reconciliation and revenue recognition alignment
Receipt allocation and debtor reporting
Active cash collection and DSO management
Invoice tracker governance
Payment agreement negotiation
Implementation of structured creditcontrol procedures
4. Creditors & Financial Governance
Management of creditor invoice logs
Oversight of payment runs and allocation
PO tracker development and system implementation
Supplier contract review
Vendor onboarding and applications
Strengthening internal financial controls and approval workflows
5. Regulatory & Compliance
Management of statutory obligations
Coordination with legal partners
Insurance oversight
Health cover administration
Social insurance and employee tax compliance
Visa and work permit applications
Enterprise grant and funding coordination
Corporate governance management
6. HR & Recruitment Financial Oversight
Salary budget planning
Project financial setup
Weekly financial reconciliations
Timesheet tracker governance

7. Automation Systems & Process Innovation
Lead automation of finance workflows (HR systems timesheets invoicing trackers)
Implement structured PO and expense systems

Experience Required
10 years in senior finance leadership or Financial Controller roles
Strong finance management and working capital expertise
Experience supporting commercial tendering and pricing strategy
Essential experience within a professional services or consultancy business
Construction industry experience is highly advantageous
Technical Skills
Advanced Excel (financial modelling scenario planning margin analysis)
Strong ERP and finance system experience
Automation mindset with experience improving workflows
Budgeting and forecasting expertise
