As a Maths Teacher you will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils understanding of mathematical concepts while promoting curiosity and resilience in problem solving.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Planning and delivering well-structured lessons that support pupil progress

• Assessing student understanding and providing constructive feedback

• Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners

• Supporting students in developing confidence in mathematical reasoning

• Contributing to curriculum planning within the Maths department

• Supporting revision sessions and intervention where required

• Contributing positively to the wider school community

Experience and Qualifications

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a Mathematics degree or related subject

• Possess QTS or PGCE

• Have experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching

• Show excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Be committed to supporting student progress and achievement
