About the Role
As an Art Teacher you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that develop students technical and creative abilities while encouraging self-expression and critical thinking.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching Art across Key Stages 35 including GCSE and A-Level

• Planning and delivering engaging structured and differentiated lessons

• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback

• Supporting curriculum development and resource creation within the Art department

• Promoting practical skills experimentation and artistic exploration

• Encouraging participation in extra-curricular activities exhibitions and competitions

• Maintaining a positive inclusive and well-managed classroom environment

Experience and Qualifications

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a degree in Art Fine Art or a closely related subject

• Possess QTS or PGCE

• Have experience teaching Art in a secondary school ideally including GCSE and A-Level

• Demonstrate strong classroom management organisational and communication skills

• Be passionate about inspiring creativity and supporting student progress
