About the role:

The Governors seekto appoint a part-time well-qualified Linguist with a dynamic and innovative approach to modern language teaching 0.8 FTE from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027.

The ideal candidate must be able to teach Spanish to GCSE level an ability to teach French at KS3 would also be beneficial. The Modern Foreign Language department has 8 staff. French and Spanish are taught across all year groups German is currently taught Years 9 -11 Latin is taught at 9-11. Exam results are consistently excellent and the department is friendly supportive and positive with an ethos of innovation and challenge.

This position is fixed term from 1st September 2026 to 31 August 2027.

This would be an ideal opportunity for either an experienced practitioner or for an Early Careers Teacher newly qualified teacher.
