Sambla Group is strengthening its finance team in Stockholm with a Business Controller ready to take a leading role in our next expansion phase. This is a unique opportunity to move from maintenance to architecture; you will design new financial frameworks for our specialized products while scaling a proven and market-leading business model.
The position entails a wide range of responsibilities focused on building the commercial steering and analytical framework for our next generation of products. You will design the performance metrics of the future with a strong emphasis on capital efficiency and optimizing our diversified revenue streams. The role works closely with the CFO for the business units and other key stakeholders across the organization. Furthermore monthly forecasting and involvement in the budget process are key responsibilities.
The position entails a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to:
Designing and implementing financial steering models and processes to support our expansion within a regulatory framework (CRR).
Analyzing and optimizing capital utility and different revenue streams to drive overall profitability.
Conducting profitability and cost analyses as well as investment evaluations to support business decisions.
Gathering consolidating and analyzing large amounts of operational and financial data from banking platform and Power BI.
Supporting management and business owners by creating and evaluating business cases for new initiatives.
Participating in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitoring and evaluating deviations between actual results and budgets/forecasts and identifying causes of variations.
Handling diverse ad-hoc requests from the business.
Earlier experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in controlling financial analysis or similar roles preferably within a Credit Market Institution (KMB) or a fast-paced finance environment.
Strong understanding of financial mechanics in a regulated environment specifically the impact of CRR on business logic and P&L.
Experience in preparing and delivering financial presentations and reports to management teams or other stakeholders.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Previous experience with budget and forecast processes.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics Business Administration or similar field.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Previous experience with PowerBI.
Experience in financial controlling or accounting.
Previous experience leading and driving projects within the finance function.
