Role Overview:

F5 Solutions Engineer (SE) is a sales and technical role with focus on customer/partners and is part of the sales organization. The SEs primary responsibility is to support the sales team with technical skills and provide technical knowledge around F5 solutions to our customers/partners.Fromtheirperspective our SE is a trusted adviser who proactively learns and understands their technical and business challenges andis able topropose effective solutions to mitigate their concerns/offer gainful SE not onlypresents the technical features but also business benefits in the Technical Value Proposition. To be effective our SE needs to have excellent technical skills and knowledge on both F5 products and the eco-system that we work in. What Youll Do:

• This role will focus on Public customers and F5 partners
• Articulate the F5productstrategymessaging and positioning F5svalue propositionand solutionsfor customer business objectives
• Providetechnical expertise through sales presentations solution designs solution demonstrationsproof of conceptsbyvarious mediums in-person/virtual presentations white boards
• Determine viability of opportunity and map out organizational structure
• Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager(Sales) by identifying the Technical Decision Maker getting their technical validation support and sponsorship
• Create strong relationships with partners to expand business in Public industry area
• Consistently provide world-class customer servicethrough the customer life cycle
• Work collaboratively with internal technical and salesresources share best practices updatesofferand seekexpertise as the need arisesin various opportunities

What Youll Bring:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
• 5 years of related industry and work experience familiarity/experience withF5or similar industrysolution deployment
• Experience as Pre-sales engineer in IT industry
• Experience in Web Application Security
• Experience in one or more programming languages (Python JavaScript etc.) is a plus
• Experience in secure Cloud architecturesand multi-cloud design is a plus
• Able to work with one or more public/private cloud vendors and automation toolsets is a plus
• Experience with container orchestration solutions (eg: OpenShift Kubernetes) is a plus
• Able to read and write in English
• Short and long business trip especially around Japan area is required frequently

• 一貫性を持ちながら拡充拡張しているF5ソリューション全般を担う技術者としてF5ソリューションや関連する技術領域の知識経験を蓄積しお客様やパートナー様に適切な情報を提供する
• お客様のビジネスニーズに沿ってF5製品戦略や価値提案を伝えるまたお客様に技術動向などを伝えることによりお客様の新たなビジネスの創造に寄与する
• 対面非対面等様々なセールスプレゼンテーションソリューションデザインデモンストレーションを通じて技術的な専門知識を提供する
• お客様向けのハンズオンや検証支援などを通じてお客様をリードしつつ強固な関係性を構築する
• 営業と共に意思決定者を特定することまたお客様との共同検証や技術的なサポートを通じて営業プロセスの推進を支援する
• お客様に効果的な提案をするためにパートナー様との双方向かつ強固な関係性を築き西日本エリアのビジネスを拡大する
• お客様のライフサイクルを通じて一貫した最高クラスの顧客サービスを提供する
• お客様の担当技術者としての裁量権を持ちつつ社内の技術者や営業その他のチームと協力し専門知識を活用し様々な案件のニーズに応じ協業する

募集要件:

• 学士または同等の実務経験
• 5年以上のF5に関連するIT業界での経験またはF5ソリューションの知識や関連する他社のソリューションの実務経験
• IT業界におけるプリセールスの実務経験
• Web Applicationのセキュリティ強化に関連する実務経験
• パブリッククラウドを活用した提案システム構築の実務経験があれば尚よし
• PythonJavaScriptなどいずれかのプログラミング言語を使用した開発経験があれば尚よし
• OpenShiftKubernetesなどのコンテナ オーケストレーション ソリューションの経験があれば尚よし
• 英語の読み書き
• 主に東日本エリアで短期長期高頻度の出張が可能なこと
• 中央省庁や東日本社会インフラのお客様やパートナー様とのエンゲージメントがあれば尚よし
