JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our service is to bring assistance with a Consultant in the context of administrative building operations and facility services management within a large international infrastructure environment supporting the technical facilities and workplace services of major office sites in the Brussels region.
The Key responsibilities expected from our on-site delegate might include:
- Manage the technical administrative and organisational aspects of all activities within the relevant area
- Make the best possible use of available resources and employees
- See to the day-to-day operations of the area
- Ensure the continued operation and operational reliability of the services
- Coordinate the delivery of facility-related projects
- Negotiate the leasing of office space when required
- Lead the Housing team responsible for building services
- Direct and consult with employees regarding operational matters
- Challenge employees regarding their behaviour and performance
- Engage in active dialogue with employees to maintain alignment and collaboration
- Manage the operational budget related to the activities of the area
- Propose a preventive maintenance plan for administrative buildings
- Maintain the technical facilities (HVAC electricity sanitary facilities lifts etc.) and the administrative buildings in accordance with the plan
- Implement workstations in a rational and user-oriented manner taking into account available space and the specific needs of each department
Profile:
- Experience in building operations facility management or technical services management within office or infrastructure environments
- Ability to coordinate technical facilities such as HVAC electrical systems sanitary systems and building equipment
- Experience managing operational activities budgets and service continuity
- Ability to coordinate projects related to workspace organization and facility services
- Experience leading or coordinating teams in operational environments
- Strong communication and coordination skills with internal stakeholders
- An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic is a great start).
- Immediate availability is preferred.
- Valid single permit for non-EU citizens.
