Role :Workday Financials Integration Lead

Location: Pittsburgh PA (3 days onsite)

Duration: Longterm Contract

Overview

We are seeking a Workday Financials Integration Lead to drive the design development and configuration of integrations supporting our Workday Financials implementation. This role will architect build and configure integrations that connect Workday Financials with the systems that power airport operations from aeronautical billing to concessions capital projects maintenance and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Strategy & Architecture:

Lead the end-to-end design of Workday Financials integrations using Workday Studio EIB Core Connectors and Workday APIs.

Lead the design and architecture of integrations supporting airport specific financial processes including aeronautical billing concession revenue management tenant billing parking ground transportation and commercial services revenue capital project accounting and grant management

Partner with Finance IT and external vendors to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Development & Delivery:

Build test deploy and maintain integrations across modules such as: Core Financials Procure-to-Pay Banking and Settlement Accounts Receivables etc.

Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for data conversions

Integrate Workday with key airport systems such as:

Airport Operations Databases (AODB)

Enterprise Asset Management tools (e.g. Service Now)

Parking and ground transportation systems

Badging system

Leadership:

Serve as the technical integration lead on Workday Financials implementation project.

Manage integration workstreams timelines and deliverables.

Provide guidance to developers analysts and technical teams.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to understand data flows reporting needs and downstream system impacts.

Communicate complex technical concepts in clear business-friendly language.

Coordinate with Workday support implementation partner and third-party vendors.

Governance & Continuous Improvement:

Maintain integration documentation data mapping and technical specifications.

Monitor integration performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities.

Required Qualifications

5 years of Workday integration experience with at least 2 years focused on Workday Financials.

Strong proficiency with Workday Studio EIB (Inbound/Outbound) Core Connectors Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST) XSLT XML and JSON

Solid understanding of financial processes and data structures.

Experience leading integration workstreams in large-scale implementations.

Strong knowledge of Oracle databases SQL PL/SQL and Linux/Unix shell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications

Workday Financials or Integration certifications.

Experience working with airports airport authorities or aviation-related public agencies

Background in ERP migrations or multi-system financial landscapes.

Familiarity with security models data governance and audit controls.
