Job Overview:
We Techsure inc are hiring for our client a Process - Sr engineers / Asst Manager / Manager for a US-based electronics manufacturing company. The candidate will lead process engineering activities for SMT and THT manufacturing operations support global sites remotely and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process Oversight & Standardization
Establish and standardize SMT/THT process parameters across manufacturing sites
Develop global SOPs and process documentation
Ensure compliance with IPC standards and quality systems
2. NPI & Technical Readiness
Review Gerbers BOMs and assembly drawings for DFM/DFA
Support stencil design review and reflow profiling strategy
Lead remote NPI readiness reviews
3. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
Perform root cause analysis for production defects
Apply structured methods such as 8D 5-Why and Fishbone
Analyze production data including FPY PPM and OEE
4. Continuous Improvement
Drive yield improvement initiatives
Reduce scrap and rework
Optimize cycle time and line balancing
5. Equipment & Technology Support process validation for:
SMT lines (Printer SPI Pick & Place Reflow AOI)
Wave / Selective Soldering
Conformal Coating
ICT / Flying Probe / FCT
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with:

Process Engineers
Quality Managers
Supply Chain
Costing and RFQ teams
Required Qualifications
BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
4 to 12 Experience in EMS / PCBA manufacturing
35 years in leadership role
Strong expertise in SMT THT and IPC standards
Preferred
Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
Experience with MES or ERP systems
Exposure to Automotive / Medical / Aerospace EMS
