We are looking for a a Real World Evidence (RWE) Expert Solutions who is analytical collaborative and motivated by generating meaningful realworld insights to join our Real World Evidence department. This role is based in Brussels Belgium or Slough UK.

About the Role

You will contribute to the design and execution of studies that generate highquality realworld insights (RWI) and realworld evidence (RWE) to inform strategic internal decisionmaking shaping innovative R&D activities across UCB. You will support external decisionmaking by engaging with key stakeholder groupspatients regulators policy makers payers and prescribersand contribute to epidemiological and medical understanding in specific disease areas. Depending on business needs you will help conceptualize RWE projects and support the Global RWE strategy and tactical plans.

Who Youll Work With

You will report directly to the RWE Strategy Lead and support execution of the RWE strategy across early development programs. You will collaborate closely with candidate and program teams research clinical market access commercial teams and external partners to ensure highquality evidence generation.

What Youll Do

• Support the Global RWE strategy by contributing insights and tactical inputs relevant to assigned programs.
• Assist in planning and executing RWE studies including protocol development and analytical specifications according to best methodological standards.
• Use internal and external realworld data to generate disease insights and epidemiological information that support business decisions.
• Drive innovative study designs by identifying new data sources and applying advanced analytics such as causal inference and machine learning.
• Collaborate with external contractors and vendors to support RWE project delivery.
• Provide clarification to RWE analysts regarding protocol implementation and methodological expectations.
• Interpret analytical findings in collaboration with the RWE Strategy Lead and communicate insights internally and externally.
• Ensure alignment between RWE tactics program strategy and clinical development needs.
  
  

Interested For this role were looking for:

• PhD or Masters in epidemiology pharmacy biostatistics data science public health or a related quantitative field.
• Handson experience designing and delivering observational studies (prospective or retrospective) in academia consulting or pharmaceutical environments.
• Expertise in causal inference methods such as target trial emulation propensity score methods instrumental variables or interrupted time series.
• Familiarity with clinical development especially Phase 1 and Phase 2 trials.
• Ability to adopt emerging digital technologies (e.g. LLMs agentic AI) and leverage machine learning to enhance analytical workflows.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present advanced analytical findings to nontechnical audiences.
