The role:

You will fill the role of Leading development team technically for newly developed critical Enterprise Services in document domain. You will be a key stakeholder for delivering value to ongoing maintenance and forthcoming system integration milestones.

Your responsibilities:

• Backend implementation with Java springboot postgresSQL gRPC Kafka event-driven microservices Azure devops Argo CD Redis Observability
• Familiarity with Java script frameworks is beneficial
• Previous domain knowledge of document processing is an advantage
• Lead by example still coding but setting the bar for quality and craftsmanship
• Play a key role in driving delivery of ongoing projects and maintenance sprints
• Ensure high code quality standards across all codebases
• Maintain a strong focus on test coverage and clean coding practices
• Act as custodian of code merges and release deployment for higher environments
• Ensuring domain/functional learning is a crucial aspect for effective software development
• Coordinate effectively with the testing/QA team during test cycles and releases
• Lead in root cause analysis and mitigation of an operational incident by investigating observability and application logs
• Support backend and frontend developers by breaking down development tickets and estimation
• Engage in highlevel design specifications and alignment with the System and Solution Architect
• Help Product Manager and Architect in maintaining the product backlog up to date
• Engage in continuous collaboration with digital core communities and DevSecOps and infrastructure teams for frameworks processes SDKs and best practices
• Drive automation observability and CI/CD excellence
• Promote collaboration teamwork and a positive work atmosphere

It is expected that you have experience with most of the following technologies:

• BE language: Java

• Relational database: PostGreSQL
• NoSQL database: MongoDB
• Event Streaming: Confluent Kafka K streams
• Containerization: Docker
• Container orchestration: Kubernetes
• Cloud Platform Azure AWS
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps
• Identity brokerage: Keycloak OIDC

There will be other adjacent which you will be expected to learn about and engage with such as:

• FE Language: TypeScript / JavaScript
• FE library: React
• FE framework: Material-UI
• FE State management: Redux
• Load balancing: NGINX

This senior role is focusing at collaboration mentoring coaching guiding and leading by example. Following competences are needed:

• Business fluency in both written and spoken English is a must.
• University degree in computer science or an equivalent education.
• 8 years of experience working as a Software Engineer.
• Effective cross-cultural communication with an international team
• Result oriented and collaborative working mindset.
• Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies e.g. SCRUM Kanban
• Experience in JIRA Confluence

The use case:
In this position you will work in one of the most critical and newly developed Enterprise service within a development team as part of an international development team located in Warsaw/Poland Essen and Frankfurt/Germany and Nanjing/China to enhance harden and integrate with a various number of applications in the scope of a newly developed data platform. We are building the future for how the company deals with documents around all operational and administrational related processes. Shipment and booking associated workflows as well as customs declaration fundamentals will receive direct benefit and impact from your work.
