Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and community-focused Healthcare Sales Specialist (Outreach Specialist) to join a mission-driven organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors. This role centers on relationship-building community engagement and education to support enrollment in a comprehensive healthcare program that enables seniors to remain safely in their homes and communities.
This is not a traditional high-pressure sales role. Success in this position is driven by trust-building community partnerships and meaningful engagement rather than transactional selling.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic community outreach initiatives and engagement activities.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with referral sources including senior centers assisted living facilities healthcare providers and community-based organizations.

Identify partnership opportunities to generate qualified referrals and expand community presence.

Educate prospective participants and community partners on available healthcare services and program benefits.

Collaborate with leadership to create and implement monthly outreach and marketing plans.

Track leads referrals and engagement efforts using CRM systems to ensure effective follow-up and reporting.
Qualifications

1-5 years of experience in sales marketing or community outreach.

Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare senior services or a related field preferred.

Strong background in outside sales or community outreach highly preferred.

Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships within the community.

Fluency in Spanish is required.

Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or healthcare systems like Athenahealth is a plus.

Bachelors degree in Marketing Healthcare Administration or a related discipline preferred.
