Position Overview

We are seeking a skilledIndustrial Painterto support coating and finishing operations in a busy fabrication environment. TheIndustrial Painterwill be responsible for prepping surfaces mixing coatings to specification and applying industrial finishes on metal components while following strict safety and quality guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Perform washingbasic rigging paint prepping painting and general maintenance on steel aluminum and piping components
Useviscosity cups thickness gauges and gloss gaugesto verify and mix coatings to specification
Apply a wide range ofindustrial coatingsto fabricated metal parts
Follow allOSHA and HazMat proceduresregarding material storage and handling
Ensure proper surface preparation for coating adhesion
Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment
Work independently and within a team to meet production goals

Qualifications

Previousindustrial paintingexperience preferred
Ability to mix paints and coatings according to specification
Familiar withpaint measurement instruments(viscosity cups gauges etc.)
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
