Reporting Accountability:Director of Marketing

Working Location:On-site daily in Des Moines Iowa

Working Hours Classification:Full-Time Internship for a 3-month summer internship duration. As an intern you can expect to work full-time hours 8am-5pm CST Monday-Friday over the summer months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support production design needs:
  • Update templated marketing materials
  • Assist with external and internal campaign assets
• Assist with maintaining and updating customer and prospect data within the CRM system
• Monitor CRM data quality and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure data is clean and updated
• Support lead management workflows by ensuring proper routing and documentation
• Analyze market and customer data and run reports to support marketing and sales teams
• Support with the creation scheduling and sending of email campaigns using marketing tools
• Build and edit email templates ensuring brand alignment and strong user experience
• Track email marketing performance metrics identify trends and recommend optimizations to improve engagement and deliverability
• Perform tasks to support marketing strategy and branding
• Provide account marketing and stewardship support
• Perform email marketing social media and basic design tasks to support the marketing team
• Organize maintain and update digital marketing asset infrastructure
• Support marketing team event initiatives by assisting with event preparation organizing marketing materials and supporting pre and postevent activations
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned by leadership

Key Qualifications:

Education and experience:

• Experience and strong foundational knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Illustrator and Photoshop)
• A portfolio of the graphic design and marketing work you have designed and created
• High school diploma/GED required
• Current student at a 2-or-4-year college or university preferred
• Must comply with continuing education per Company Regulatory Contractual and Accreditation requirements

Skills and competencies:

• Strong collaboration skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast paced constantly changing environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to organize prioritize and manage time effectively and efficiently
• Interest in healthcare workers compensation or related industries a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Operation of office equipment and using technology efficiently such as computers phones misc. office equipment
• Visual abilities to include reading distance vision and peripheral vision
• Moving throughout the VGM facilities when needed.
