Assistant Director Repairs & Maintenance
Northampton 80000 Full-time Permanent
A leading Northampton based organisation is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Repairs and Maintenance to lead the delivery of high-quality repairs and maintenance services.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing responsive repairs voids and cyclical maintenance while driving service improvement operational efficiency and excellent customer outcomes.
You will lead a large operational service including senior managers and multidisciplinary teams ensuring services are compliant high-performing and resident focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across repairs voids and maintenance services
- Lead and develop high-performing teams across operational delivery
- Manage large repairs budgets and ensure value for money
- Oversee contractor performance procurement and contract management
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulatory and statutory requirements
- Monitor performance through KPIs reporting and service improvement initiatives
- Drive a strong customer-first approach across repairs services
About You
- Senior leadership experience within repairs property maintenance or social housing
- Strong knowledge of contract management and contractor performance
- Proven experience managing large operational teams and budgets
- Strong understanding of housing repairs building maintenance and compliance
- Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK Driving licence
