Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join an exciting research project investigating the role of non-coding RNA in vascular diseases and pregnancy complications. The successful candidate will participate in both molecular and in vitro research activities and provide essential support for ongoing laboratory operations.
This position is time limited.
Responsibilities
Perform molecular biology techniques including RNNDNA extraction PCR and genotyping
Conduct tissue culture experiments
Maintain and manage mouse colonies
Assist with general laboratory duties and project-related tasks as assigned
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with laboratory protocols
Qualifications
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and three years of laboratory or research experience. College coursework in a natural or physical science may be substituted for the required experience on a year for year basis.

A public employer may include a postsecondary degree as a baseline requirement only as an

(b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelors degree;
(c) Six years of direct experience for a masters degree;
(d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
(e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure certification or registration
required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the
advertised description of the position of employment.
Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.
