    • SpEd Student Support in 6-12 Summer Programs (Middle School Academy High School Credit Recovery or Freshman Academy): 5.25 hours/day
    • Transition PlusESY: 4.25 hours/day
    • Dakota Ridge ESY (large group): 6.25 hours/day
    • Dakota Ridge ESY (small group): 5.25 hours/day
    • ECSE ESY: 7 hours/day (No Fridays Thursdays hours can vary)

    Qualifications:

    1. High School diploma AND two years of college OR Associates degree OR MN passing score on Master Teacher assessment.
    2. Effective behavior management and health support skills able to maintain routine in a students day.
    3. Effective communication and teamwork skills for interactions with staff students and parents.
    4. Experience working in a center-based and inclusion setting.
    5. Must be able to perform the essential job functions which may include toileting catheters lifting medication administration gastric tube feedings health tasks to support student pool DAPE ability to work outside.
    6. Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally ethnically racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.


    Responsibilities:

    1. Assist in communication with staff parents and students.
    2. Assist teacher/nurse in collection and maintaining data.
    3. Ability to implement intervention strategies developed by licensed staff.
    4. Implement behavior intervention plans.
    5. Implement health plans.
    6. Assist with crisis interventions and discipline.
    7. Have knowledge of effective sensory activities.
    8. Instruct individual students following programs designed by lead teacher.
    9. Assist with independent study.
    10. Reinforce lessons with small groups of students.
    11. Ability to work outdoors with students and staff in a variety of weather conditions.

    Compensation:
    Per the Memorandum of Understanding
    Internal applicants: Will be paid their hourly wage plus an additional $3.00/hour. Student contact hours.
    External applicants: Will be paid $16.50/hour plus an additional $3.00/hour for a total hourly rate of $19.50/hour
