(Senior) Frontend Engineer Banking Platform (mfx)

Shape the future of Scalables new fully vertically integrated investment and banking platform. Scalables Broker digital Wealth Management and Credit offerings are seamlessly integrated into a newly developed technology platform.

As a Frontend Engineer you will be a key member of one of our product teams responsible for designing and building powerful intuitive UIs that support critical processes from transaction monitoring to corporate action workflows and operational dashboards. Our frontend stack is built on React and TypeScript with strong foundations in component reuse design systems and testable architecture.

Youll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand complex workflows and translate them into well-structured maintainable user interfaces.

Responsibilities:

• You work with cutting-edge technologies and participate in modern software development practices (e.g. agile and self-managed teams continuous integration and deployment test automation cloud-based infrastructure and tooling).
• Engage with our cloud-native DevOps-enabled infrastructure utilizing AWS services like ECS Fargate Lambda among others.
• You write clean testable maintainable and well-documented code and treat security as a first-class citizen
• You bring products to production and reveal real business value
• You can improve engineering excellence in the team

Qualifications :

• A university degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. computer science engineering) or a comparable qualification
• Previous work experience in frontend development in technologies like Typescript React NextJs Cypress WebPack Material Design Express HTML5 CSS3
• A strong passion for outstanding UI/UX web performance and accessibility
• Ability to think outside the box and to work independently 
• Analytical proficiency both in the technical and in the product domain
• Excellent communication skills that are clear concise and targeted towards your audience - engineering product or other stakeholders
• Practical experience in AWS or another cloud provider
• Professional proficiency in English
• Experience using coding agents (e.g. Codex or similar AI-assisted development tools) is a plus.
