Reporting to the Outlet Manager responsibilities and essential functions include but are not limited to:
Oversee daily operations of the hotel bar(s) including lounge bar terrace or specialty bars.
Ensure high standards of beverage service and hospitality are maintained at all times.
Supervise bar set-up cleanliness stock levels and service preparation.
Train and supervise bartenders and bar staff.
Schedule shifts effectively and manage team performance.
Conduct regular staff training in product knowledge customer service and safety protocols.
Ensure guests receive professional prompt and courteous service.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints efficiently and with discretion.
Promote guest satisfaction and loyalty by providing memorable experiences.
Design and update beverage menus in collaboration with the Director of Food & Beverage and Executive Chef.
Maintain knowledge of international drink trends and introduce innovative cocktails.
Monitor stock levels order supplies and manage supplier relationships.
Implement cost control procedures and minimize wastage.
Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure accurate stock records.
Ensure compliance with local licensing laws and hotel policies.
Maintain hygiene and safety standards in accordance with health regulations.
Lead responsible alcohol service training and implementation.
Qualifications :
Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
Minimum 35 years of experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar leadership role within a luxury hotel or high-end venue.
Strong knowledge of wines spirits cocktails and bar operations.
Proven track record in staff management cost control and guest satisfaction.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Creativity in beverage menu development and promotions.
Financial acumen and analytical thinking.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
