The Status Board Operator Team serves as the central communication and dispatch hub for the Public Areas Department. This role is responsible for using a multi-line telephone and two-way radio system to answer and dispatch incoming calls and to relay information to department managers and frontline employees. They will also create track and coordinate all incoming work order requests that come into the department. The Status Board Operator role ensures the smooth flow of operational communication and supports the department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming calls to the Public Areas Department in a timely professional and courteous manner.
- Dispatching calls tasks and service requests to shift managers and assigned employees promptly.
- Maintaining a warm engaging and service-oriented communication that aligns with Wynn Service Standards.
- Logging calls accurately ensuring complete and detailed entries for operational traceability.
- Maintaining accurate logs of employee tips.
- Follow up on all logged items to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Create and submit work order requests a needed.
- Assist department leadership and co-workers as needed to support operational efficiency.
- Performs other administrative/office duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of three years experience answering phones and/or working in the hospitality industry preferably in a dispatching call-center or hotel operations role.
- Knowledge of additional languages is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook Word Excel).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to read write and speak English.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment with strong attention to detail and work effortlessly within a team environment.
- Must maintain professionalism courtesy and adherence to Wynn Service Standards at all times.
- Must have a willingness to learn new processes systems and departmental procedures.
- Must be able to work nights weekends and holidays.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding guests staff and internal operations.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
