Junior Quantity Surveyor (Interior Fit-Out)

About the Role
We are a dynamic interior design and fit-out firm specializing in high-end commercial and residential projects. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. You will support the commercial department in managing project costs ensuring that our high-quality design standards are delivered within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of cost estimates budgets and bill of quantities for fit-out tenders.
Conduct site measurements and quantity take-offs from architectural and M&E drawings.
Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for materials like joinery finishes and false ceilings.
Prepare subcontractor payments and assist in the evaluation of variation orders.
Monitor project expenditures and assist in cost reporting to senior management.
Attend site meetings to record progress and verify work done for interim valuations.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or a related field.
1-2 years of working experience in the interior fit-out or construction industry.
Familiarity with fit-out cost components (joinery glass flooring M&E) is a strong advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with QS software (e.g. Masterbill CostX) is a plus.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Own transport and willingness to travel to project sites.
