Missions

Within the Media Solutions (MS) division and reporting to the Product Director of the division the Profit Analyst is responsible for analyzing profit and loss by product and by customer. They evaluate the return on investment of discounts and marketing budgets in order to improve profitability and support the MS Product Director in making the most relevant investment decisions.

The Profit Analysts main responsibilities include:

Profit Management (40%)

• Analysis of profits and profit simulations based on sales forecasts and the investment plan
• Preparation of reports on channel distribution and distribution model breakdowns to enhance profitability
• Preparation of monthly business reviews by analyzing the P&L by product and channel
• Requests for client delay releases
• Participation in the negotiation of annual contract general terms with distributors

Promotion and Marketing Budget Management (40%)

• Planning of the promotion budget based on SOA budget analysis and return on investment
• Validation of SPMS requests from the sales team after approval by the MS Product Director
• Monitoring the effective use of pre-established promotions for each distributor
• Verification of payment supporting documents provided by clients
• Analysis of requests to modify the sales budget deduction rate and assessment of the root causes

Support to the MS Product Director on Internal Reports (20%)

• Support with regular weekly and monthly reports in Korean
• Handling of various ad hoc requests related to sales evolution and profit estimates

Profile

• You hold a higher education degree in Data Analysis or Business
• You have an advanced level in Excel and PowerPoint
• You have previous experience in an international environment and possess professional proficiency in French Korean and English
• Open-mindedness rigor and strong analytical skills are essential assets to succeed in this role
