This is your chance as a Trainer/Coach to promote and deliver Ready Steady Rent Tenancy Skills course across Suffolk.
To promote the training and coaching service and to network and engage with relevant organisations to secure an ongoing referral stream.
Your role will involve:
- Facilitation of the course engaging on a 1-1 basis and small groups of people in learning about managing tenancies managing self and understanding budgeting banking etc.
- To adapt the course as necessary to suit the needs of the delegates.
- To keep training materials accessible for all and up to date amending where necessary.
- To collate and analyse statistical information on outcomes of training.
- To carry out any other function in relation to the pre-tenancy training courses and after course coaching.
- To carry out any housing related tasks for the charity as and when required by the Chief Executive.
- To help the Team in any fundraising activity for the charity.
What you will need
We are looking for a motivated and engaging individual with a genuine interest in social change education and the empowerment of young and/or vulnerable and possibly challenging people.
You will:
- Be educated to degree level or have an equivalent level of professional experience.
- Ideally be an experienced trainer life coach/mentor or have experience of working in those or similar fields.
- Have a good grasp of financial matters and an understanding of housing generally.
You must have:
- A full driving licence
- A satisfactory enhanced DBS check (TSF will fund this)
- Willingness to travel to different locations across Suffolk.
- Willingness to work reasonably flexibly to meet fluctuations in workload within appointed hours.
